Shelter From The Storm

Buried in the Mud

Days of lonesome errors walking through my head
looking into the mirror watching eyes of pale dead
hours only waiting deep inside my heart
it feels like I`m buried in the mud
it feels like I`m buried in the mud

Your voice is so kindly but words without a sign
hands reach out so friendly cannot read a rhyme
thoughts turn smokey circles and deep inside my heart
it feels like I`m buried in the mud
it feels like I`m buried in the mud

Outwardly laughes reason attended in the end
it seems to be so easy chained are my hands
cause you`re in the cockpit, deep inside the heart
it feels like I`m buried in the mud

Diamond is only seventeen so I`ve to play the fool
If there is no future is it right to stay cool
Life is only hoping deep inside my heart
It feels like I`m buried in the mud
